Espresso Foundations
Are you wanting to kick start a career in coffee? Perhaps you're already there, but need to nip some bad habits in the bud?
Set the foundations out right with our Espresso Foundations course. Recommended for a variety of people who are either completely new to coffee, with limited experience or teams of baristas wanting to ensure consistency within their café. With intimate class sizes of 4 people max, enjoy plenty of one-on-one time with our trainers observing and guiding you.

You will learn
- The class will cover: Introduction into the world of specialty coffee, the dynamics of extracting a great espresso, how & when to adjust grind size, steps to load a handle for efficient workflow, correct tamping techniques, learn how to create silky milk, how correct pouring techniques can improve the flavour in your coffee, and machine cleaning & maintenance tips
You will get
- Unlimited beans & milk to practice with during the class, and certificate upon completion

Anybody who wishes to become a fantastic barista - Beginners or seasoned veterans

If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
You’re welcome to send someone in your place.

- A refund can be requested anytime before class starts. An admin fee of AU$5.00 applies.
- A transfer can be requested anytime before the class starts. An admin fee of AU$5.00 applies.
- A credit note can be requested anytime before the class starts. Free of charge.
No changes will be allowed after these times.
